Our farm caretaker is Maeflower Farms out of Rupert, Vermont. Maeflower Farms is a small herd dairy farm raising White Galloway / Mini Jersey crosses as well as meat chickens/eggs and market vegetables. It is owned and farmed by Danielle Zimmerman.
Danielle practices intense rational management and regenerative agriculture. This means while you stay at White Doe Farm you might see the chickens in the pasture that the cows have previously grazed or ducks in the apple orchard keeping the pests away. She deeply believes in adding to soil health and no pesticides are used on the farm.
The dairy herd is 100% grass fed, A2A2. Maeflower Farms is state certified for raw milk sales so when you stay you can purchase farm fresh milk. The milk is also used to make cows milk soap, and the herbs grown on the property are infused into herbal salves and bath teas - all of which are available to purchase on site. It's truly a farm-to-skin experience.
